History of Galactic Hearts Radio
2022 – Founding and Early Days
Galactic Hearts Radio, originally known as Dream Colors United Radio, was officially launched on February 21, 2022. The station was created as a virtual online radio platform, designed to provide a wide variety of music content to listeners worldwide. Initially, it was hosted on ZenoRadio, and later expanded to OnlineRadioBox during the summer of 2022, reaching a broader audience of music enthusiasts. The station was managed by Galactic Hearts Media Enterprise Company, a subdivision of JT Time Catcher Mass Media Network Incorporated, which oversaw operations, content planning, and strategic growth. From the beginning, Dream Colors United Radio aimed to combine contemporary music with family-friendly content, including songs for all ages and genres.
2023 – Growth and Expansion
Throughout 2023, Dream Colors United Radio experienced steady growth in its listenership. The station expanded its programming to include a mixture of pop, P-pop, children’s music, and classic hits. Key artists featured included BGYO, BINI, ABBA, and other global performers, alongside beloved children’s entertainment like Barney, Cocomelon, and Peppa Pig. During this period, the station also upgraded its streaming technology, adopting CDN-based streaming to ensure more stable connections and high-quality audio for online listeners. The platform actively engaged with its audience through social media and online communities, solidifying its reputation as a diverse and inclusive music station.
2024 – Consolidation and Recognition
By 2024, Dream Colors United Radio had established itself as a leading online radio station in the Philippines. Its branding, programming, and community engagement earned it recognition among both youth and family audiences. The station became known for featuring unique international and local music, educational content, and family-friendly entertainment. During this year, the management team under Galactic Hearts Media Enterprise Company began planning for a rebranding initiative to reflect the station’s evolving identity and broader vision for multimedia expansion.
2025 – Rebranding to Galactic Hearts Radio
In June 2025, Dream Colors United Radio officially rebranded as Galactic Hearts Radio. This change marked a significant evolution in the station’s identity, emphasizing a modern, futuristic aesthetic, and a renewed focus on being the No. 1 online music variety radio station.
The rebranding included:
- A new name and logo, reflecting the “Galactic Hearts” theme.
- Updated station imaging, jingles, and promotional campaigns.
- Enhanced multimedia integration with the JT Time Catcher Network, including radio events, live streams, and interactive content.
This transformation reinforced Galactic Hearts Radio’s commitment to innovation, entertainment, and community engagement, making it a flagship station of Galactic Hearts Media Enterprise Company.
2026 – Continued Growth & Expansion
By 2026, Galactic Hearts Radio continues to operate as a premier online music platform, offering a wide variety of music for all ages and tastes, from P-pop and international hits, gospel music, to children’s educational songs. The station emphasizes high-quality streaming, listener interaction, and innovative programming, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the online radio industry in the Philippines. The station remains closely tied to its parent radio production, Galactic Hearts Media Enterprise Company, and its broader network & parent company, JT Time Catcher Mass Media Network, contributing to multimedia projects, online communities, and live events that connect with audiences across the country and beyond.
